This can often trick inexperienced attackers into wasting troops early or miscalculating their entry point. The heart of the base is a fortified square containing your most vital defenses. With the Air Defense and Mortar hugging the Town Hall, any troops that survive the internal Spring Traps will face constant splash and air fire.
